Great location in Coral Gables on Lejeune and 10th Street. Plenty of parking at rear of building, staff is courteous and friendly. Office is professionally managed and clean

On February 20, 2025 I kept my appointment as always. But on this particular day it was different. The attitude with a couple of the staff members; not all of them; was very disrespectful and nasty. After I completed my consultation with the Doctor; located at Aran Eye Associates at 2550 S. Douglas Rd in Coral Gables, Florida 33134; I ask the lady that was supposed to have given me instructions "When will my appointment be for my cataract surgery?" Because the Doctor did order it; her exact response was "I Don't Know; Bye!" I responded; "Thank You!" She said it again "Bye!" I don't know this lady; and don't know why she was so mean and hostile. But! She is not a Professional; and made the entire office look bad. If she had a bad day that's the wrong way to handle whatever it was that made her take it out on me, and she gave me a attitude. Now when I go to my appointments for the Othalmalogist I feel as though I should keep my guards up and not feel so comfortable anymore. There's an old saying that goes like this: Treat Others The Way You Want To Be Treated. Anybody that's a Public Servant should always maintain self-control even with people they don't like. I hope everyone have a good day everyday. The reason I gave three stars because the Doctor was nice and didn't seem to have a attitude.

The service here sucks. In January 2024 I had a emergency office visit with Dr. Mario Rojas and he scheduled me for cataract surgery. I have not heard anything from the scheduling department and It is impossible to get through to any of the numbers and extensions that I was given. NO ONE ANSWERS. I am literally left on hold for hours. I have left over ten messages and no one has return my call.

FIRST OF ALL I DONT WANT A THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THIS TO OUR ATTENTION. IF ARAN EYE ASSOCIATES IS GOING TO READ THIS THAN RESPOND. THIS IS THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. I HAVE BEEN CALLING FOR 3 WEEKS - YES 3 WEEKS - MESSAGE AFTER MESSAGE AND NO ONE WILL CALL BACK OR ANSER THE EXTENSIONS. NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON WITH SURGERY APPT. LIKE MY WORLD HAS TO REVOLVE AROUND THESE PEOPLE. I NEED A DATE !!! IF YOU ARE A PLANNER TO NOT GO TO THIS OR ANY PLACE. THEY HAVE A CALL CENTER - NO WAY TO CONTACT ANYONE IN THE OFFICE. SOOOO DONE. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at Aran. I was overcharged when I had a procedure and I have been trying to speak to someone in the billing department since January. Every time I have called, the customer service representatives are not allowed to transfer the phone calls to any department, nor give me their extension or e mail so I can communicate directly with the person. Other times that I have called, nobody answers the phone. When I have mentioned this to different employees, they agree that customers do not receive a phone call back. I've heard other customers complaining about the same situation and when I've tried to speak to someone in the corporate office to let them know about these things, the representatives cannot give that information. I personally have never seen this lack of professionalism. The doctors and nurses are excellent but when it comes to speak to someone in billing department, is a waste of time. Before my procedure I called several times to speak to the billing department and they never returned my phone call, nor checked my deductible with the insurance company. This situation could have been avoided since the beginning if the person would have done her job.
