Risal S. Djohan, MD

Dr. Djohan is an exception doctor. I’m a patient at Cleveland clinic who has undergone major abdominal Surgeries in the GI/Transplant under the car of other doctors. My recent 4th major surgery, took place October of this year. Dr. Djohan worked with my team and did the most beautiful job with my closure and cosmetic deformities. He exceeded my expectations. I could write a book and go on about everything I like about the team and how great Dr. Djohan is. He listened to my concerns. Made sure my health was is good Standing. Actually cares about patients well being. An executed an incredible job. I am Close to 3 weeks post op, see differences even with swelling, and the scarring from My incisions is minimal I will continue to recommend him. I will forever be grateful to be under his care by him and his team.

I saw the doctor for a problem with thinning of skin. As always, he was concerned and answered all my questions. I have confidence in him and appreciate his expertise.

Dr Risal Djohan is a very knowledgable physician of plastic surgery. I am so sad to say that I had lipo suction and I am not happy with my results. I understand maybe lipo and body contouring is not his specialty so that does not mean he's a bad Dr. I am just saying that I was not happy with my results and I feel as if I wasted my money. I even asked to do the tummy tuck which I know that would give me what I am seeking bcz my muscle in my abdomin needs to be stiched back together, Lipo alone will not do it! I now need to look for another Plastic surgeon to give me the body contour that I am seeking.

I saw Dr Djohan for a second opinion. He was very arrogant as soon as he walked into the room. He refused to treat me because I saw his colleague, prior. I told him I thought I had the right to see another doctor based on my comfort level. He argued with me instead of listening to my concerns about a very sensitive matter.His nurse was equally condescending. He left the room and I was in tears. He has no compassion for people who are suffering.

I had surgery with him years ago. Fast forward to know when another plastic surgeon saw his work he remarked that he "could fix it." He told me that the surgeon who did the job could've done better and was sloppy.
