I cannot emphasize enough how amazing my experience was! I had always wanted top surgery but newly finding out I had a higher risk for breast cancer felt like the right sign to move forward with it. Dr Shore was tremendously informative and helpful with all of my (many haha) questions around doing a double mastectomy. She and Giselle made what could have been a really anxiety filled situation feel incredibly supportive. As someone who has multiple health conditions/ disabilities that made me worry about healing timelines and complications, Dr Shore was also really helpful with planning with those in mind and I always felt listened to. Cannot recommend enough! 🩷

First and foremost, Alison Shore and her patient coordinator are the most courteous, compassionate, and caring medical professionals that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the start, they used the name I chose for myself instead of the one on my paperwork, my pronouns were a non-issue as they effortlessly referred to me as I prefer. Giselle's patience and positivity immediately put me at ease, and Dr. Shore's professionalism is perfectly peppered with light humor, giving me a sense of comfort and helping me to feel relaxed as a transgender patient traveling hours away from home for my care. Giselle responds promptly to phone calls and emails, making the scheduling process a breeze. While there may be a slightly longer wait to be seen by Dr. Shore, I cannot express enough how worthwhile it is. She is a master of her craft, and it directly reflects in the phenomenal work she does to help people feel more comfortable in their bodies. I had masculinizing top surgery with her in early April of 2025, and as I write this review nearly 3 months after, I am beyond pleased that she was my surgeon, I feel like she answered every question and concern I had with genuine care in her heart, and at no point was I left in the dark about the procedure or the processes that would lead up to it. At first I felt challenged by the big change after my surgery, but I felt supported by the doctor and her teammate every step of the way as I healed and settled into my new chest. Alison and Giselle are *THE* Dynamic Duo!

this office was geniunely the best option I could’ve chose for my top surgery journey! The staff and surgeon are some of the best people i’ve ever met in the medical field, Alison has a great personality and communication with them was always very efficient and easy to get a hold of them. I couldn’t be any happier with how things have gone, I would endlessly reccomend her to anybody looking for any surgeries

Dr. Shore is amazing. She is a highly skilled surgeon but is also incredibly kind, direct, personable, funny, and she cares deeply. My surgery was great, but my nerves had a strong reaction post-surgery and she has been wonderful as we’ve worked through that together. Giselle is also fantastic and kind. I could not have asked for anything better and am truly grateful to know Dr Shore. If you are considering her, don’t hesitate, even though the wait is long. It is 100 percent worth it.

Dr. Shore is fantastic. I truly cannot express strongly impressed I am with her service. The consult -- Dr. Shore is realistic, thorough in her explanation, inclusive in strategizing her approach; she is equal parts professional and personal in how she addresses you, and she feels like a quick, easy friend as opposed to the oft stiff or impersonal provider. The surgery day -- Dr. Shore is in tune with your emotion and is both calming and, for those like me who waited years for your surgery, she is a hype woman and excited with you. Her just being a good person, enhances the whole experience for the patient. The follow-up -- She is thoughtful, thorough, compassionate, and kind. She is easy to talk to and has a great, genuine energy that makes appointments something you actually look forward to. Office Correspondence -- Giselle, Giselle, Giselle. She is so great. From the first phone call to the office, in setting up your consult, to the last contact with the office, she is a warm, inviting, respectful, energetic voice that makes the process less nerve-racking. She always says, "Hi, my friend," and you never doubt she means the endearment. Her positivity brightens up the waiting area and comes through in every email reminder she send you, leading up to surgery. In my case, I have had Dr. Shore for two separate surgeries, FIVE YEARS apart, and Giselle remembered me and was just as endearing the second time as she was when I was a first-time customer. The results -- Dr. Shore's thoughtful approach, skill, talent, and professional accuracy, has given me a new confidence. Her work is beyond what I had hope for, and my scars are small and healing beautifully. ***I simply cannot recommend Dr. Shore (and Giselle) enough--you will be happy you went with her!
