I had an excellent experience with Dr. Gregory Dumanian . From the very first consultation, they made me feel comfortable, listened carefully to my concerns, and explained everything clearly. I had surgery for a hernia repair , and the entire procedure was handled with professionalism and genuine care. The procedure went smoothly, and my recovery is being much easier than I expected thanks to their guidance and follow-up. He is a awesome surgeon that fixed my large ventral hernia. It was a big surgery especially since I was getting a Colostomy reversed ( by another great surgeon) at the same time. This surgery changed my life for the better of course. He was well worth the 4 hr drive.

Dr Dumanian is the best surgeon in Chicago. He truly puts in time and care- he is the highest expert in hernia surgery and weight loss surgery. I feel so grateful to have found him in Chicago- his expertise in surgery has changed my look and changed my life.

Dr. Dumanian is the absolute best. I got so lucky to have him as my plastic surgeon when I was hospitalized for post c-section complications. His bedside manner is amazing, and he is so nice (and funny too!) He truly cares about all of his patients. He is top notch. Everyone in his office is amazing and so helpful too. I had a large ventral hernia (caused by a previous failed hernia surgery and subsequent bowel obstruction) that restricted my movement and made me look pregnant. I went to Dr. Dumanian because he's an expert in complex hernia surgeries and he uses his own patented mesh. All I can say is that he's awesome! Surgery was performed in November 2024 with no major complications. The repair feels rock solid, like nothing is causing this baby to bust open. In addition, I can move freely and my torso shrinked several inches. It was almost like a had plastic surgery done. Throughout the process, Dr. Dumanian and his nurse Katie were extremely supportive and helpful in answering all my questions. I feel great, look great and can move better. Thank you Dr. Dumanian, Nurse Katie and the entire team at Northwestern!
