I had my breast reduction done by Dr. Shore last June and have waited a year for everything to settle before writing a review. This was probably the best decision of my life. I am so happy with how I look and how my breasts look after. Scarring is very minimal and I have gotten lots of compliments from those who have seen them on how well the scarring looks. Dr. Shore took about ~6lbs of breast off of me and I felt like a feather after, lol. Dr. Shore is exceptionally kind and empathetic to the struggles of a bigger chested person. Dr. Shore listens to all of your concerns and issues and addresses in the moment. Aftercare was splendid. I did not need any of the narcotic pain relievers after and Dr. Shore is very on top of after care and wants to see you VERY regularly after surgery, which I think was really nice. Over all, best decision of my life. My boobs look great and I love them! Haha.

Dr. Shore is an incredibly kind and detail-oriented person that is doing amazing things in the surgery department. The ~year wait was very worth it, because even after just a week post-op, my incisions were looking great! The drains also came out super easily despite my fears, and she explained what she was going to do, what it would feel like, and how it all works beforehand (this goes for anything she did, like with taking pictures or drawing the lines prior to surgery, not just the drain removal). She was always very intentional with her process and explaining that process to not only myself but to my partner as well, and Dr. Shore is super knowledgeable! Any questions we had, she had answers right away, and she explained anything that may have been unclear to us. She was also sure to calm any worries I had, whether it was prior to surgery or during a follow-up regarding how my scars were healing and that the color was normal despite looking maybe a little funky! Even though I'm only 2 months post-op, everything is looking amazing, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Dr. Shore was very respectful and considerate throughout the entire process, whether it was with the pre-op appointments, the day of surgery, or the follow-up appointments--she always had a great attitude and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I'm a pretty awkward person and can need some extra explaining sometimes due to my mental processing skills, but she was very patient and kind with me. I will also say the surgical center (900 N Michigan Surgical Center in my experience) she operates out of was an incredible place as well! Everyone there was nice and my pre- and post-op nurses were superb! Just in case anyone was a bit worried about the surgical centers she works with, I know sometimes it can be daunting! I think some people may get mixed up about the letters she requires for surgery; she needs at least one letter, because she has to submit the letter(s) for insurance approval (i.e. a Letter of Medical Necessity). It's not that she does it in any sort of discriminatory way, it's just required to get insurance approval, at least for BCBS IL, which is what mine is. BCBS approved my surgery pretty quickly after they sent over mine, which is the whole point of the letter(s)! The wait is 100% worth it to have Dr. Shore do your double mastectomy/top surgery! She's an incredible surgeon! I also have to shout out Giselle, the receptionist, because she is amazing as well! She's super nice and always helpful, and she helps make the process very smooth and comfortable! They work great together!

Dr. Shore performed my surgery this year and there isn't one negative thing I can say about her. Her professionalism and her expertise did show, and I'm so grateful and happy I chose Dr. Shore to perform my surgery. Her receptionist Giselle also acted in a professional manner and helped so much with insurance purposes, questions I had etc., and always responded back in a timely manner. I definitely recommend Dr. Shore to anyone who is seeking any type of surgery she specializes in. Thank you for everything. Dr. Shore is the most wonderful healthcare provider I have ever been to! I went to her for double incision top surgery at the beginning of June 2021 and have had amazing results so far! Absolutely phenomenal bedside manner and genuinely cares about all of her patients. She knows exactly what she is talking about and is an expert in her field. Giselle is also beyond incredible and helped to make the entire process a million times easier! The professionalism and expertise exhibited by these two is unmatched and I cannot compliment them enough. Absolutely wonderful people, I cannot recommend them enough!!!

I had top surgery with Dr. Shore 7/2022, she was exceptional every step of the way. She answered every question I had (and I came with a hefty list), she was very responsive after my surgery when I had a concern (everything was fine), and her office angel, Giselle, is spectacular. I had to wait a while to get a consult but it was 100 percent worth the wait. My results are everything I wanted because she took the care to listen. I have recommended her to many and I will keep doing so. Thank you so much!
