I went in for my usual 6-month checkup, and I made an appointment with Amy. Very friendly and professional. I had a couple growths taken off my head, It was painless. I could totally recommend glazer dermatology. I've been seeing them for years and it's been great ever since

Thank you Dr. Alex Glazer, Dr. Fretzin, nurses and reception. Great office, friendly and helpful staff. It was easy to make an appointment. My mom and myself took care of the skin issues successfully and timely.

TLDR: Great group. 16 years a patient. suggest them. Primarily I work with Dr. Fretzin, but I’ve seen both Doctors Scott Glazer, Alex Glazer, and Kozeny. All four of them are equally great to work with. I will say, I usually have my problems written down or circled on a body diagram before I enter the room, that way the appointments flow quickly. Anytime I’ve had a concern or felt like I had a good alternative idea, they have always listened and tried to help. The nurses and staff are equally as skilled & helpful. Appointments are not difficult to schedule. Sometimes I need a simple injection and we can get that done same or next day. If you ever have to deal with insurance and pricey medication, Autumn does a phenomenal job.

Glazer dermatology in Buffalo Grove has an Outstanding front office staff who welcome patients, who are polite and practice old-school manners effusively. Such a welcome change in this digitized world of bots and phone tree options. The nursing staff worked seamlessly with Dr Fretzin who handled my appt expertly and professionally. I'm not sure if I just caught them on an bad day, but my experience here was awful. I had an appointment here through a VA referral. The week before, they sent me some info and requested I log in to a website to upload my information. Sure, sounds smart. I do so, then a few days later, still a few days before the appointment, I get sent another message asking me to download an app and submit yet more information. Okay, fair enough. Upload all my documentation, fill out the questions, etc. Then I get there the day of my appointment, 15 minutes early. One of the staff is very helpful and polite but clearly new and not familiar with everything yet, whereas the other was extremely rude and unprofessional. They hand me a tablet and a clipboard to fill out ALL of the information I'd already submitted to them, again. On top of that, the forms they had for me were pre-filled with incorrect information. Basic stuff, like gender. Why not just populate this from what I already filled out? What is the point? When I tried to show them on my phone I'd already done all this, they at first blatantly ignored me, and when I politely said, "Excuse me?" and showed them I had filled everything out already, the unprofessional one was just.. mean. She glared at me and said, "It doesn't matter. Just do it." At that point, I was just stunned at such overtly rude behavior, and told them calmly that I felt this was too hostile and uncooperative for what it was, and I would just leave and reach out to the VA for another referral. As I'm walking out, the unprofessional staff member yelled, "MICHAEL!" after me. Literally a scream. As I'm 15 feet away and walking out the door. I didn't even see the doctor, so unfortunately I can't speak to their quality, but from what I've seen and heard, they are great. But this was such an unnecessarily adverse experience that I can't really recommend this place until they get the front facing part of their business at this location figured out. Things like this just straight up should not happen in a professional environment. Everyone should be treated with a bare minimum of basic respect and courtesy, and from my experience, that is not what you will find here.
