Very professional and knowledgeable doctors. They removed a tumor on my adrenal gland along with the adrenal gland on a day surgery basis. A surgery that if I had done in Huntsville by a local doctor at Huntsville Hospital I would have been in ICU for 3 - 4 days. I highly recommend the department of surgery at UAB.

Absolutely the best. Dr. Vardas saved my life when most wouldn't have been able to. Going in for another surgery in a few weeks there's nobody else I would let operate on my aortic dissection.

Told to be here at 12:30. No food or drink before surgery... still miserably waiting at 6 tonight and know nothing. Lack of

Sitting here for 4 hours and have not called my son back for prep. When I asked at the Surgery Check in, the girls were rude and not helpful.
