I had a bilateral Breast Reduction and Dr. Fix is truly "Amazing." I was told this moniker every time I mentioned his name, "The Amazing Dr. Fix." By the staff and nurses of a hospital, that saying something. He is a kind, humble, understanding, and patient doctor that really makes his patients feel comfortable throughout the process. His attention to detail is unmatched. My UAB-Main Hospital experience was awesome as well. UAB is such a big place and I was nervous about how that would go...no issues. Choose Dr. Fix!

I think Dr Fix means well and my breast look great but Dr Fix needs improvement in some areas, I tell him what’s going on AFTER his surgery that never went away like Constipation and Belly Fat but he insisted it wasn’t from the Tram Flap surgery! Please do your RESEARCH before trusting any Dr, I guess it’s an ego thing , they’re not the ones going through the issues ! My Breast are great! it’s the abdominal issues I don’t like .. He basically told me there’s nothing he can do, to go on a diet eat more fiber (which I don’t eat much at all and I do eat foods with fiber) he failed to tell me about the negative of this surgery, I feel every patient needs to know ! Also numbness and muscle weakness. The positive is ..I do like having Breast made from my own body . Honestly I wouldn’t have had this surgery considering everything I went through and still going through! if I gave a BIG surgery like the Tram Flap I would CALL to check on my patients! Dr Fix also told me it would be a “few” office visits for injections, I went back and forth at least 6 times to get them full enough to look normal . That’s more than a few visits .. also he’ll tell you the surgical scar will be below the bikini line well…. My scar is wayyyyy above the bikini line which I Didn’t like at all . I would like for Dr Fix to listen to every thing I had to say ..instead I always feel rushed to talk , but I sit there and listen to him which I don’t feel he’s always right when I AM THE PATIENT AND DEALING WITH the constant issues from his surgery. Do your research before you make a decision. TRUST No One!!

Im very late in doing this review as I was reminded of how horrible this experience was for me. I had what was supposed to be a breast reduction in 2021. However, there was no reduction in the breast size. So I pretty much have a scarecrow jagged cut across both breast for no reason. After surgery I was given a cheap non-compression white bra and soon after my breast begin to fill up with fluid or blood I’m assuming on both sides, who knows. I went into the office and was seen by a younglady who was very cold and callus. A decision was made to do nothing. Their response to me was to make sure Im keeping the area clean. After some time I did call in with questions because my breast looked the same and was scolded by the PA for having questions. When it was time for my follow up I was told by the same PA Deborah Jeter via phone and the portal, there was no need for me to come back unless I had further complications. So after the supposedly breast reduction with a possible complication I was never seen in this office again. When checking into having the procedure redone when thats Drs office received my file that Dr. advised it stated I had a breast lift done. I too was treated well in the beginning, given plenty of information and felt comfortable . Once this office is paid, its a wrap, they could care less about the patient. If I could rate them below zero I would. My suggestion is look elsewhere.

If I could save anyone from Dr. Fix I would be happy. He botched my reconstruction several years ago and got mad at me for questioning him. Please run and go to Restorative Breast Care Center in New Orleans for the best!

If I could give him a zero I would. As a physician and a colleague I trusted him to do an elective procedure and he a terrible job. I have suffered pain and vision problems since that procedure. He just lied to me. He even cut my ear just trying to remove a drainage tube. If he can’t see to remove a simple drainage tube why is he allowed to operate on anyone? He is full of himself.
