I cannot recommend Dr. Cassileth and her team ENOUGH! She is the most competent impressive and skilled doctor that I have come across in my cancer and reconstruction journey. She has a wonderful bedside manner and is also excellent at what she does. I am thrilled with my results of my mastectomy and reconstruction done by Dr Richardson and Dr Cassileth and have been told many times that the direct to implant reconstruction is the best people have ever seen. My scars are completely hidden and my recovery was as good as one could hope for. I am eternally grateful for the care I received at The Practice and from Dr. Cassileth.

I’m from San Diego and initially struggled to find a doctor for a double mastectomy who aligned with what I was looking for. Fortunately, I came across Dr. Cassileth’s work online. I went to Los Angeles for my consultation, I was thoroughly impressed by her innovative technique, her team’s professionalism, and the time she devoted to addressing all of my questions and concerns. The surgery went smoothly, and although I’m still recovering, my experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Dr. Cassileth and her team made me feel genuinely cared for and have ensured my recovery process has been as seamless as possible. I cannot recommend Dr. Cassileth enough! The staff is by far the most incredible group of women I have ever experienced and I have never felt more taken care of in my life. They whole office is warm, welcoming and the most skilled in the business. My results are beyond amazing and I would never use another doctor (or nurses) again. There was so much time, thought and care put in to my procedures and I truly feel blessed to have been able to use Dr. Cassileth and all her support staff.

Patients Beware! Especially cancer patients in need of reconstruction. In my experience, this office will require you to prepay everything in advance, sign a very lengthy contract and promise to reimburse you, if and when they get paid by insurance but they will simultaneously insert an assignment of insurance benefits form for you to sign buried in the pile of legal contract pages which directly contradicts their fee agreement and allows them to keep all of the insurance money they collect too! I am an attorney and refused to sign the aforementioned assignment of benefits as written but they still charged me 100% of their fees upfront, then submitted multiple inflated bills to my insurance company under various entity names and are now refusing to reimburse me for what they collected from my insurance company in breach of their fee agreement! I have filed complaints with the CA state medical board and department of insurance over their fraudulent billing practices and will be suing them as well. I found a similar complaint going back about three years so evidently I am not the first person to experience this. I wish I had seen that review before I ever made an appointment at this office. I agree with prior reviewer. If I could give them a zero, I would! This office brags about their 5 star reviews. (I was asked to give one before I even met the doctor so don’t be misled). In my opinion, not only is this practice unethical, it is the reason why our insurance premiums are so high!
