Most nurses were caring of my needs.. Meals were excellent..but to much. I felt I was in good hands!

Hello Everyone! I have been dealing with endometriosis for almost 5 years and I recently just had a surgical procedure done at Mercy Hospital by Dr. Chadwick. First, let me be the first to tell (any woman out there) that she is fantastic! Second, knowledge is so important when it comes to diagnosing endometriosis, which Dr. Chadwick has for sure! It is important to do your research before scheduling and appointment and I knew with my current location no one would understand my pain, journey, or what “I needed,” unless I was seen by a true endometriosis specialist. Again, Dr. Chadwick knows the ends and out of endometriosis and has wonderful knowledge on the subject! I traveled 2 and 1/2 hours down the road just to see her and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else because “she knows what she is doing!” I am giving this office itself a 5.0 rating! Feel free to look at the web page too!

My mother was diagnosed with colorectal cancer September 2023. She has been receiving chemotherapy treatment since then. I'm present at every appointment she has. The doctors and nurses here are not only extremely sweet, they're patient, compassionate and great at what they do. My only negative in this review involves the misc personnel. The ones who check your vitals, guide you to your room, etc. There is only 1 young lady who will always bring me a lunch when she pops in to bring my mother one. The 3 other ladies, including the new one from today, don't even look in my direction. There have been times where I buy lunch from the 301 Mercy location and then sit with my mom during her treatment but a lot of times I don't have the money because my money is getting my mother to and from her appointments. People do have loved ones who come and sit with them for support. From morning to evening. The R.N.s have no issues tending to visitors. They'll get you something to drink, a blanket, a pillow. Why others don't do that confuses me. At the very least, acknowledge the visitors. My advice, if you're a visitor, bring your own lunch. Otherwise you'll only have 2 snacks to tie you over.

I recently had surgery. The dr did an excellent job. My experience with the hospital on the other hand was not as pleasing. They kept forgetting my meals. The first nurse I had was either stretched too thin or just plain unhinged. My second nurse was fabulous. All in all I give the hospital a 3. They need to improve on care. They need to remember when people are in the hospital a lot of times they are scarred and need compassion.
