When I hurt the tendons in my hand, I knew I had to find a doctor that was accredited in hand surgery specifically but I was also happy to see that Dr. Sharma had experience with microvascular surgery and plastic surgery, so I knew he would reconstruct my hand, the tendons, and the nerves beautifully. Dr. Sharma has a very calming bedside manner and explained everything to me so that I felt comfortable with the procedure and recovery. The whole staff at Seton Ascension has been amazing. His nurse Sarah worked tirelessly to make sure that Worker’s Comp. had all the information they needed fast so that I could get the surgery within a week, which is vital for tendon repair.

Dr Sharma did a great job on my thumb tendon repair. It was a complicated injury that included nerve repair. 7 months post op it feels a bit stiff and numb but both are expected. I don’t notice it most of the time and I’ve been able to go back to work as a nurse and have no issues with fine motor skills. I’m so thankful for Dr Sharma and his hand expertise!
