I’ve seen Dr. Tjelmeland for 20 yrs. He’s extremely knowledgeable and caring. He sent me to a blood specialist prior to surgery to confirm Lupus was not going to effect my procedure. Dr. Tjelmeland spoke with the hematologist himself. I have complete confidence in his ability to keep patients safe. The outcome of my surgeries exceeded my expectations.

Amazing facility, staff, and overall experience. I especially want to highlight Shylene, the RN who cared for me during my eyelid vein correction surgery with Dr. Amato at Meridian Surgery Center. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and at ease. I tend to get nervous with surgery, but Shylene’s kindness, professionalism, and calming presence made all the difference for me. She explained everything clearly, anticipated my needs before I even asked, and treated me with genuine compassion the entire time. Shylene truly set the mark high for what excellent patient care should look like. I’m incredibly grateful for her and could not have asked for a better nurse to be by my side. She is a wonderful soul, and Meridian Surgery Center is lucky to have her.

I could not have had a more positive experience with Dr. Tjelmeland and his incredible staff. I have had 3 procedures at Meridian Plastic Surgery, and this facility is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Everyone, including the people at the front desk, the nurses, Dr. Tjelmeland, and even the anesthesiologist, did everything in their power to make sure I was extremely comfortable.
