I recently had facial surgery performed by Dr. Ben Stong at Kalos Facial Plastic Surgery LLC in Atlanta. Dr. Stong did an excellent job performing the surgery and I am totally satisfied with the results. I was understandably nervous about having surgery done on my forehead to remove a lipoma, but Dr. Stong and his team of assistants put me at ease, explained the process in detail, answered all of my questions, and helped me to be well informed about the entire surgical process. The office is immaculately clean, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the entire process from my initial visit to the post-op follow up was flawless. Now that I am a year and a half out from my rhinoplasty with Dr Stong, I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Rhinoplasty is a deeply personal decision, but I can honestly say Dr Stong is an incredibly skilled and thoughtful surgeon. I would make the same decision again without hesitation and recommend him to anyone considering rhinoplasty. I had always wanted a nose job because I had a deviated septum and a large dorsal bump. I was extremely insecure about my profile, and it affected my mental health more than I realized at the time. I spent a lot of time researching surgeons and looking at photos. From my very first consultation, I felt heard and respected. I learned so much during my appointment, which was refreshing after feeling confused by so much conflicting information online. Dr Stong gave me honest expectations and clearly explained exactly what would be done to create my dream nose in a way that fit my face. I also loved his before and after photos especially how natural his results looked. One of my biggest concerns was ending up with a pointy or artificial looking tip, and I love how rounded my tip looks now. Before surgery, my left nostril was so narrow from my deviated septum that breathing on that side was difficult. I did not realize how compromised my breathing was until after surgery. Now I can breathe well out of both nostrils. Over a year later, my nose is still looking great and I have had no issues. I can wear glasses comfortably which used to be a major insecurity for me. The results are exactly what I hoped for and I am genuinely obsessed with my profile now. My nose fits my face so well and still looks like me. The entire experience was professional and reassuring. Dr Stong made me feel comfortable throughout the process and his staff made me feel cared for every step of the way. Recovery was exactly as explained. While healing and post op care do take time, I was already in love with my nose the moment my cast came off.
