Excellent doctor and person. I thought for sure I had a hernia. But after meeting with Dr Aguiar and having him examine me, he said "I have good news for you. You do not have a hernia!" I was shocked and relieved. He referred me to a top notch imagery/ultra sound/ CT doctor who confirmed it was a lower abdomen muscle tear and not a hernia. Dr Aguiar cares about his patients. His attention to detail and listening skills are second to none. I did not feel like a number. He took an interest in my eventual diagnosis and actually contacted me for a kind follow up.

I recently underwent hernia surgery, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. The procedure was quick and easy, and I was pleasantly surprised by how relatively painless it was. The doctor was exceptionally thorough, explaining every detail and ensuring I understood the entire process. I highly recommend this surgeon for anyone in need of hernia surgery.

I went here for a umbilical hernia surgery. Dr Juan and his staff were great. The procedure was very fast with only a local anesthesia given. Basically started around 4pm and out of the office and walked out of the office by 9pm. I was walking fine the next day. The first few days there is pain obviously, but that only is for the first 3-5 days about. After 1 week no pain and all was good. I did a follow up visit 2 weeks after all good no pain and full mobility. I couldn't be happier with the results, the cost and how fast and efficient Dr Juan and his team operate. I would highly recommend this as you bypass all the American 100 visits and pay 20k and wait months for the procedure.... you can get this done writing the first days of arriving and recover in beautiful Puerto Vallarta.... could not be a better place to do this... thanks again Sr Juan m, Dr Martinez and staff!!

Dr Aguiar performed 2 hernia surgeries on me in the past 3 years. Both times he was professional and caring, and I highly recommend him to others. The first surgery was at CMQ PREMIER in Vallarta. The more recent surgery was at JOYA HOSPITAL in Nayarit. Both are modern and have an excellent staff to care for their patients. However , I prefer CMQ PREMIER because it's smaller and, while I was in recovering room, the staff were closer to me, only an arm's length away. But I felt equally comfortable and well cared at both hospitals

Dr. Aguier is an excellent professional and kind human being. I am very grateful I found him and that he was my surgeon removing my gallblader. It is hard to find an MD who has so many qualities to offer. He is accessible, responsive, caring and dedicated to his patients. So far the best experience I have had with a medical professional at ALL levels.
