This review is about Dr Norberto Rodriguez Gonzalez who spoke perfect English and attended my initial consultation. This is the stubborn old Asian guy who didn't take your advice and insisted on getting prescribed medicine for my bacterial chest infection. You are an absolute super star as it was clear you were worried about my health and took extra time writing up my prescription so complications didn't occur. I am much better due to your prescription and I felt the initial consultation fee of $600 pesos was more than reasonable. I gave 5 stars because they hired Dr Gonzalez and they are open every day 24-7.

This morning I had to visit the CMQ hospital. Everyone was completely professional and the process was quick and painless. I was checked in and then waited about 5 mins to be seen. The dr, Dr Cesar Bennude, was professional and quickly diagnosed my symptoms. There was a quick exam and prescription given. About a 15 mins at most visit and I feel confident that I was thoroughly treated with care, compassion, and will be cleared after my treatment. The hospital was clean and easily manageable to get to from my hotel in PV.

Kind of scary going to a Mexican hospital. I did not know what to expect. I had my travelers insurance ready to go but the price was way lower than US emergency room or hospitals and I just paid in pesos. I had a Gastro intestinal infection suspected from my insurance company online doctor and told me to go to the ER or hospital as soon as possible. Doctor on call at the hospital made the same determination and within 30 minutes had a script and I was on my way. Very clean modern hospital professional staff.

I was suffering from an itchy rash on my shins, and definitely not getting better with my amateur guesses at treatment. My bride strongly suggested we visit CMQ (on a Monday night, 9pm). We walked through the doors, received genuine prescriptions and a qualified medical opinion, paid a whopping $35US, and walked back through the doors fifteen minutes later. I received professional, compassionate care in a modern facility and couldn’t be more pleased with the results!

DO NOT GO HERE! 2 weeks ago I went in to see Dr Cristo Emanuel Ponce Carrasco for symptoms of watery diarrhea and stomach upset. After examining me, he told me I could be hospitalized but it would cost 50,000 pesos per day, which is $2,500 US, OR I can be sent home with a nurse which would be much less expensive. So I opted for the nurse and Denise Perez came to my house and administered IV fluids for 3 days with antibiotics and other fluids. At the end of this 3 day. I got a bill for over $2,000 US from her and the doctor! 2 weeks later, I am still not better. So today I went to see another doctor at Joya clinic, Dr Jorge Contreras, and he told me that I had been ripped off. What they did was complete overkill not necessary at all!! He prescribed another antibiotic and another probiotic that isn't killed by antibiotics, and I should be better in 5 days. Total cost: $35 for the consultation at Joya Clinic. Please do not go to CMQ hospital at all and stay away from Dr Cristo!!
