I have been a patient with Dr. Karen Carillo for about two years. I have had several procedures done and I have been very happy with the results. Dr. Carillo and her staff at both clinics are are very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Both clinics are very clean.

I’m very against any sort of plastic surgery to my face so I opted for a treatment called “ultra former” with her- but I never actually saw the woman doctor who is always on instagram and met another gentleman who I expressed my concerns - however he wasn’t the one that would perform the treatment, he left the room then two women walked in, one was teaching the other how to use the device and hold it, where to hit- she was a trainee, had no experience so of course I got no results as it wasn’t done by someone with experience, When I expressed they brought me back and said someone would call me back to make it right and basically blew me off, never followed back with the issue. They seemed very trustworthy and loved the Instagram advertising so I felt safe going there, but to my surprise they aren’t as professional or caring as they seem.

The person on the phone needs to be trained I was willing to spend at least 2000 dollars for treatments , but thank to that person I prefer to go somewhere else with better costumer service..

Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Karen Carrillo's office in Macristy ended up being negative, even though the medical care itself was excellent. My problem isn't with the doctors or the services, but solely with the reception staff and those responsible for scheduling appointments. From the beginning, it has been extremely difficult to get a response to schedule an appointment. I tolerated it because I really wanted to have the treatments done there, but after several negative experiences and having to deal with the poor attitude of the reception and scheduling staff, I decided never to return. For me, writing a review like this isn't something I do lightly. I believe this is the only way to bring this situation to the owner's attention. The business actively promotes the use of WhatsApp for scheduling appointments, which implies they should be prepared to handle it properly. Otherwise, they should ask people to call directly. Scheduling an appointment and getting a response is a painful and frustrating process. Something as simple as explaining the services I need and the order in which I want to schedule them seems impossible for the staff to understand, even when I leave dates and times completely open for them to choose. Furthermore, I allow two hours for these appointments, and even when I arrive early, they always make me wait between 30 and 45 minutes past the scheduled time, which is practically the entire duration of the service I requested. The final reason for not returning happened as follows: I began contacting them on October 14th to schedule an appointment. After repeating the same information for several days, I finally managed to book two services on October 23rd, for November 3rd. On November 1st, they sent me a confirmation, but only for one of the two services. I replied to clarify, and instead of resolving my issue, they ignored my message and asked if I could arrive at an earlier time. I said no, they tried to change the time again, and since it was very important for me to make this appointment, having traveled from far away, I started calling repeatedly. They didn't return my calls. Instead, I received a message saying I only had one appointment scheduled. It was obvious there was a mistake, but they showed no willingness to acknowledge or fix it. I called again, and after two attempts, they answered. Calmly and respectfully, I explained that I had booked two appointments for October 23rd. The receptionist simply repeated over and over, "You only have one appointment." When I asked what had happened to the second one, she repeated the same thing, offering no solution, with a rude, arrogant, and condescending attitude. I asked her to check the chat, where they themselves had even provided me with the date and time. The exchange continued without any resolution, with them acting as if I were talking nonsense. Finally, she told me that "the doctor you requested doesn't work at that time." This raises several logical questions: If I wasn't working at that time, why did they offer me that time slot? If they scheduled it incorrectly, why didn't they contact me beforehand to correct it? If they never entered it correctly into the system, why didn't they apologize and help me reschedule? The call was cut off, and almost immediately, I received a WhatsApp message that said: “You were assisted by phone 😊🌺” Assisted in what way? The conversation hadn't ended, they hadn't helped me at all, and the treatment was completely inappropriate. I replied, stating that I would never return and that I wouldn't even attend the single appointment they had scheduled. I received no response. It's a real shame that a place with such good doctors and excellent services is overshadowed by such poor appointment management and such unprofessional customer service.
