I had my Gastric Sleeve on October 22, 2021. I have now lost 62 pounds. Dr. Cesar Elenes was GREAT with me and so was all of his staff.. even the people at the care home Rancho Nueva Vida .. I felt VERY taken care of from the moment I stepped into their hospital when the surgery was done. They have great pricing for the surgery. There are no HIDDEN FEES... I DO RECOMEND DR. ELENES TO ANY AND ALL PEOPLE THAT ARE CONSIDERING THE GASTRIC SLEEVE.. I have not had ANY complications what so ever. They are very informative and the after care is also great... I had a good experience, yes the surgeon doesn't interact much with his patients, because he does have several cases a day. He does have a helpful team though. But what is expected when you want a fast process and paying out of pocket. If I would of had this done with my insurance, it would of been a much longer process and time with office visits mental therapy etc. The day of my procedure I had chest xray, ekg, labs, and I was cleared for surgery. Yes I requested it and paid an extra $40. But it was worth it. The day I was discharged I was given a order to go downtown and have a leak test done. Everything came back perfect! I know people who have it done in the states and leak test are not done. I had my procedure done exactly a year ago and I'm surprised to see his ratings declined, he had high ratings a year ago, and prior to that. I've been following him for a while now. I'm wondering if the patients who did have leaks, didn't proceed to have a leak test upon discharging. It's not mandatory but highly recommended. I have no complaint on my hospital stay or the staff, infact they were helpful with even filling out my short term disability forms, at no extra charge. My experience was great and I'm sorry for the patient's who have experienced otherwise.

Great doctor. It was a very good experience; the pre- and post-operative care from the medical team was of very high quality. Especially the treatment from Dr. Cesar Elenes, and thanks to him I was able to change my life.
