I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to share my experience with Dr. Petersen and his exceptional team. From start to finish, the level of care I received was far beyond five stars. Traveling from California for surgery came with a lot of understandable stress—managing existing medical conditions, staying within budget after years of saving, ensuring I would be happy with my results, and navigating the added concerns of undergoing a procedure in another country where I don’t speak the language. Dr. Petersen and his team made every step of the process feel seamless. They were incredibly patient, responsive, and thorough in answering all of my questions, always with genuine kindness and professionalism.(Thank you to Moni for fielding my large influx of questions and for being SO comforting and kind when I had the opportunity to meet you in person!) Their ability to communicate clearly in English made a huge difference and provided a great deal of reassurance. They also referred me to the Magnolia Cossio Recovery Center, which exceeded every expectation. The care there was outstanding—every need was anticipated and met with warmth and expertise. My hospital experience was equally impressive: a beautiful facility, a private recovery room, and attentive, compassionate staff throughout. Dr. Petersen himself was wonderful—attentive, approachable, and deeply invested in understanding my goals. He took the time to explain what to expect and made me feel completely at ease. My results are phenomenal—natural-looking and exactly what I had hoped for, as if achieved through years of dedicated fitness and healthy living. Dr. Jesus showed up in the same intricate manner and was very thorough in considering all aspects of pre-and post-op care, tailored to my specific set of circumstances. What truly sets this team apart, however, is their aftercare. Even after returning to the U.S. following eight days of recovery in Mexico, I received daily check-ins from the team. Any questions I had were answered almost immediately—often within minutes—even outside of standard business hours. While at the recovery center, a highly skilled lymphatic drainage specialist was arranged to provide daily treatments, which made a significant difference in my healing process. (Her name is Aleja and she is the most adorable, lovely, compassionate, knowledgeable ROCKSTAR ever!) Before I left, I had a final in-person visit with Dr. Petersen and Dr. Jesus, where they ensured all of my questions were answered and provided clear guidance for my continued recovery at home. I left feeling confident, informed, and fully supported. These men are such GEMS! If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. This team goes above and beyond in every possible way. I am more comfortable in my body than I’ve ever been, and I am incredibly thankful for the care, attention, and expertise I received. If you’re considering this journey, this is your sign—you will be in truly exceptional hands.
