I had an excellent experience with Dr. Ceja Zepeda. I had a rhinoplasty done with her a few years ago and originally went in for aesthetic alternations only. She uncovered that I also had breathing issues due to structural issues caused by injury and was able to correct these for me. I recommend her to anybody looking to have this type of work done. My experience with the doctor was unfortunate, mainly due to the lack of organization and communication during the pre-surgery process. I waited approximately a month for my evaluation appointment, completed the requested tests, and arrived promptly. During the consultation, everything seemed to be going well; however, afterward, there were multiple date changes and a lack of clarity regarding costs, the hospital, and the insurance process. Later, I was asked to schedule a second evaluation just days after the first, and since I couldn't attend in person, I asked if it could be done via video call. I never received a response to that message, and the following day I was informed that they no longer wanted to take my case because "we weren't on the same page." I completely respect a doctor's right to decide which cases to take, but I feel there was a lack of empathy, clarity, and better management of the patient's time. The most frustrating aspect was the lost time, as I could have made progress with another specialist and improved my recovery during that period. I hope they can improve their communication and organization with future patients.
