​My Experience with Dr. David Lurduy and Riviera Plastic Surgery: Absolutely Incredible! ​I had a breast augmentation with Dr. David, and I can honestly say it was a super amazing experience from start to finish. The entire team at Riviera Plastic Surgery is just fantastic. Karla, the assistant, was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process; she was always there for my questions and checked in with me constantly before the surgery to see how I was doing and if I had any doubts or fears. I truly felt so well taken care of. ​Dr. David has such a beautiful energy. He has this way of taking away your doubts and reaffirming your decision. What mattered most to me was that I felt seen in my specific desires—I really wanted my breasts to look natural, and it was so important to me that they didn’t look "fake." First, I would like to say how amazing Dr. David is. From his bedside manor, to his calm and caring compassion, to his incredible skills. I came from the USA to cancun for a mommy makeover, in June 2025. After years of wanting to do surgery, and research for the best surgeon, I finally found Riviera Plastic Surgery. From the first contact with Karla, to my virtual appointments with Dr. David, the pre op appointments and the surgery and hospital stay, my post op recovery and the nurse Maria in the office, I could not of picked a better more incredible team. I had breast augmentation, lipo 360 of my back and flanks, and an extended tummy tuck with muscle repair, and some of my fat placed in my butt. My diastasis recti was very severe, so there was some pain, but overall my recovery was smooth. After 16 days in cancun, I was able to fly home. The follow up appointments were done virtually, and they were always there to answer any questions or concerns I had. In the states, the plastic surgeons are extremely cocky, which is a huge reason I searched for surgeons outside of the states. Dr. David's eye for beauty is unmatched. He took a woman that was broken and made me whole again. Its been 6 months since surgery, and for the 1st time in 20 years, I am able to wear a bikini again! My scar is healing very beautifully and I am planning to return to cancun to finish my lipo that couldnt be completed the 1st time around. I will never go to another plastic surgeon ever! I would give him an infinite amount of stars if I could! I love dr david and this team so much!!

I had a consultation with Dr. Lurduy last Thursday, 15 May 2025. I live in Chicago and prior to my appointment, Karla kept an ongoing correspondence with me via email, to ensure that my appointment was confirmed. Upon arrival to the office, I was greeted by Karla who is just as great in person! Very welcoming! Then I met Dr. Lurduy… as he introduced himself, he said, “Dr. David“ …and shook my hand. Immediately I felt comfortable, as though I was having a conversation with a friend. My Spanish is far from fluent, and everyone at the office speaks perfect English. I working on my Spanish!!! Dr. Lurduy allowed me to explain what my goals are through plastic surgery, and answered all kinds of random questions that I kept coming up with. He offered suggestions, and gave me some new ideas for what I am looking to do. It’s amazing what can be done. The consultation was not at all rushed, and very thorough. Discussing all aspects of what needs to be done prior to surgery, and mostly what to expect after surgery. Once Dr. Lurduy was assured that all my questions were answered, the consultation came to an end. I concluded with Karla, and was told that I would receive an estimate for the procedures. The offices are located in Galenia Hospital in Cancun, very easy to access from the hotel zone. I’m looking forward to reviewing the estimate and ultimately scheduling my surgery with Dr. Lurduy. Dr. David was amazing! He is very skilled and knowledgeable in what he does.

Dr. David is a skilled surgeon who wants to do the best he can for you. It is difficult arranging times for appointments which does add to the stress of organizing the procedure. After care is commendable. The surgery day felt rushed as the post operative instructions were not given to me personally. My husband was given the form which was not that helpful. Overall i would recommend going to Dr. David. He is a kind an considerate person.
