In 2008, I had breast implants placed by Dr. Rafael Velasco at Hospiten Cancun. Years later, I chose to have them removed, and during the procedure, it was discovered that the implants had been placed incorrectly—literally upside down—and there was significant damage to my chest muscles. My doctors in Dubai, were shocked. One of them, despite the medical code of not speaking ill of colleagues, told me: “We never comment on another surgeon’s work, but what has been done to you is truly a disaster.” Please, for your safety and wellbeing, do not go to this doctor.
