Dr. Brenes Leñero and the clinic are excellent; they provide comprehensive care from day one. They are very professional and prepared me for surgery in a holistic way, covering nutrition, medical consultations, pre-operative care, and post-operative care—you feel right at home. They are kind, communicate well, and are very gentle. The doctor, most importantly, possesses genuine compassion, care, patience, knowledge, and genuine warmth. I had an appointment with Dr. Piccolo, and overall, the experience was quite negative. The consultation started 45 minutes late. Unfortunately, she was very curt and showed no interest in giving me a thorough or clinical examination, as she usually mentions on her social media. In about 20 minutes, she "covered" everything, leaving me with a huge list of products I had to buy and a variety of aesthetic treatment options also offered at the clinic. The clinical aspect is definitely not her priority, and she certainly doesn't care about even looking the patient in the eye. And the process of scheduling follow-up appointments was a nightmare. On the other hand, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Brenes two months in advance, and two days before the appointment, they called to cancel and offered to reschedule for two or three months later. I requested a refund of the 50% deposit they require to schedule the appointment, and it took them another month and a half to process it. In short, the experience was quite negative, and I do not recommend this place.
