I went to Ankara to have eyelid surgery under local anesthesia with Professor Furkan Karapekmez, and everything was far better than I expected. First of all, the nurses' friendliness and smiling faces made me feel incredibly comfortable. The surgery itself lasted about 45 minutes, but thanks to the professor constantly chatting with me, I didn't even realize how time flew by. Honestly, he worked so meticulously and thoroughly that even watching him do it increased my confidence. From start to finish, the attention, care, and professionalism were truly top-notch. I would like to thank the professor and his team for making this process so comfortable and stress-free.

If I can give less than one star or negative marks, I would. I would not recommend this doctor at all for anyone. I been trying to setup a meeting with him and requested it many times, and his team member been ignoring my requests and claiming she can explain the process. I asked many questions, and she did not answer most of them, and she did not even explained the reasons and the logic behind her answers. Do not waste your time going to this doctor, go to someone else who is willing to give you time to meet you before your surgery because he will give you time after the surgery. A doctor who is not willing to meet you before the surgery, I doubt it he will have time for you after doing your surgery.

I had blepharoplasty done by Prof. Dr. Furkan Karabekmez almost nine months back. I am still looking for a proper surgeon who can help me with the weird hole left on the corner of my eye and the scar on the upper side of the eye lid after Prof. Dr. Furkan’s surgery. Funny part was Prof. Dr. Furkan, who was able to see every little problem on my face (even the ones that I did not notice myself) before the surgery claimed the hole was not visible to him. And the schocking part was that he “graciously” offered to cut it again albeit noting that he does not know why the hole has occurred and whether cutting it will make it any better.
