After a long period of research, I chose Cihan Karaca... I had been considering having rhinoplasty for about two years, but I kept postponing it due to a lack of confidence. Breathing problems and a drooping nasal tip always created a lack of self-confidence. I had heard about Dr. Cihan from a few people, then I started researching him and went for a consultation on June 1st. The adventure began with a warm welcome; after the initial examination, he explained everything to me, both the good and the bad, and we established trust :) I had surgery on June 12th. When I came out of surgery, I had some barely noticeable bruising and swelling. Swelling can be minimized with ice packs for one night after surgery. Thanks to my perforated plastic splints, I didn't have any problems breathing after the surgery. Since my nasal bridge wasn't touched, I only had a splint and bandages on my nasal bridge. I stayed in the hospital for one night and was discharged the next morning. I didn't experience any problems like vomiting blood. I only expelled the blood that had accumulated in my nasal passages through saliva using the sea salt solution prescribed by the doctor (I used the sea salt solution for about a month and found it very helpful). On the 3rd day, my nasal packing was removed; it was painless but a strange feeling at that moment :) After the packing was removed, I could barely breathe for 2 days because of the swelling inside my nose (patience is very important, it's a temporary process, I used nasal spray 3-4 times a day because I couldn't breathe). When I went to have the splint removed after a week, I really thought, "This is what breathing feels like," and I felt relieved. Now it's been a month, and I'm so glad I had the surgery, so glad I met Dr. Cihan. Believe me, you don't feel like a stranger at all, you feel like he's part of the family. I had surgery performed by Dr. Cihan in August 2018. My nose was crooked, my nasal concha was four times larger than normal, and I couldn't breathe at all. Dr. Cihan created a very smooth and natural nose. I was able to breathe easily the day after the surgery. I had no pain or discomfort afterward. He also has a calming personality; I went into the surgery very easily, without any stress. I'm so grateful to him. If you're planning a nose surgery, don't go to anyone else but Dr. Cihan. I decided to go to this doctor based on reviews I read online and had the surgery. He's a competent doctor who helped me resolve my breathing problems and achieve a beautiful nose. He's a wonderful, non-intimidating, and trustworthy person. Those who have had nose surgery can tell at a glance that someone else has had one, but Dr. Cihan Karaca's workmanship never reveals the telltale signs of having had one. Before seeing Dr. Cihan, I had a deviated septum in my nose, which made breathing difficult in daily life, especially in cold weather. After the surgery, I can breathe much more easily and sleep better at night. After the operation, I have both the beautiful nose I wanted and a nose that allows me to breathe comfortably.
