I had a wonderful experience with Clínica Dermatológica International thanks to the entire team. Dr. Ignacio Sánchez Carpintero is a true professional — extremely attentive and reassuring. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made us feel confident and well cared for. Eva Martinez was also incredibly kind, responsive, and very helpful while scheduling my daughter’s appointment. Her professionalism and warm attitude truly made a difference. I am very grateful for her support.

I am very glad that I contacted this clinic. A team of professionals, there is no doubt. Thanks to Dr. Diana Camacho. I would also like to mention Nurse Sandra for her caring attitude during and after surgery.

Menudos sinverguenzas! I am deeply disappointed and shocked by the financial practices of this clinic. I recently underwent surgery to remove a nevus, which unfortunately turned out to be a melanoma in situ. Given the diagnosis, I was advised to have a second procedure to widen the margins by just 0.5 cm to ensure my safety. Instead of prioritizing patient care during such a stressful time, the clinic sent me a new budget where they doubled their fees for a minor extension of the original site. Doubling the cost for a secondary safety margin—especially after a cancer diagnosis—is predatory. Their explanation: those are their fees, take it or leave it. It is clear that they prioritize profit over people. They act like mercenaries rather than healthcare professionals. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere if you expect transparency and ethical treatment.

I have NO idea why they call themselves an international clinic when they have zero respect for international patients. They have no respect for the timing of their appointments - my niece visited this clinic from outside of spain, I took her appointments much in advance to be kept waiting in a room for over an hour with no update I kept looking for someone to help us but everyone kept saying wait five minutes, it took 2 hours to be attended and the doctor simply apologised. There was no courtesy call to me to inform me that the doctor had been delayed and it was explained to be a scheduling issue which I find the utmost disrespectful way to treat an international client. For a super expensive clinic that claims to be the best in madrid they have a shameful Organization system and an even worse treatment of their clients. Ridiculous.

5 years ago I had fat grafting done to my face in this clinic that turned out to be a disaster. The idea was to fill in some lines I got after radiofrequency treatment I had in another clinic that melted my fat, instead I got high round cheeks I never asked for. At the same time I got hollows in my legs, my left leg felt weak, after reporting it to the clinic I was told not to worry that the symptoms as well the hollows normally will disappear without problem. I wasn’t happy with the results of the surgery, my cheeks were big, I decided to have another surgery with the same doctora, this time to put fat around my cheeks. It was the doctors fault for not listening to me, deciding to give me high cheeks but I had to pay all for the second surgery. In the meantime I was contacting the clinic about the hollows in my legs that were painful and looked bad, most of my emails were not answered. What I have noticed in this clinic is that when things are going well, very well, but when something goes wrong, do not expect any solution from them or that they assume any responsibility. For more than 2 years I was pushed between the doctora and the clinic. In the meantime, I was spending money there doing other treatments, believing that they will come up with a solution. I asked for a new follow-up appointment only to find out that the doctora who operated on me no longer worked at the clinic. I was told to get in touch with the doctora in another clinic, I refused and asked to see a new surgeon who now work there, whom I know and was happy to see it, and how wrong I was. The first appointment was very positive, after explaining my symptoms to the doctor I was told to do Ecography, which no one at the clinic had recommended to me before. After returning with the results which showed that I had mild brilateral trochanteritis (having nothing to do with postoperative complications) the doctor told me to go to physiotherapy and once I was done with it to come back to him for the hollows. Of course I had to look for a physiotherapist myself. Meanwhile my legs were changing, more painful and cold. After a while I went back to the doctor telling him my legs felt worse than before and that I needed fat transfer there as he previously proposed, saying that fat heals. The attitude towards me changed, this time the doctor didn’t see any hollows (even the doctora who operated on me didn’t deny them) Everything I described was nonsense, I came asking for help instead was treated like a fool. The doctor told me to continue with physiotherapy. So I then again went back to therapy which I continued for almost a year. I recently tried to make a new appointment with the doctor but they kept canceling my follow-up appointments, saying the doctor was on vacation and couldn't see me. I got upset telling them I needed help, the girl on the phone told me she will call him and see what he says. Next day she called me back, saying that the doctor is in the clinic (suddenly the doctor wasn’t on vacation) and said he might see me but he 100% is not going to operate me, which was a very strange thing to say after almost a year of not seeing me, then she quickly changed saying that the doctor could see me but this time I will have to pay for the consultation (business as usual) Paying more for the doctor to tell me there's nothing and I have no hollows? That was their way to get rid of me. They happily took my money twice but didn’t lift a finger to help me. I have asked them in all possible ways to help, all they did was lying and winning time. These surgeries damaged my legs and my life. For the last 5 years I have been in pain day and night. My legs feel sick, I have holes that have affected my muscles, there is no protection. My legs are freezing and are weak, there are days when I have difficulty walking and can't sleep on my sides. Other doctors I talked to said the symptoms I have are obviously post-operative complications. I'm still crying up to now, I thought I could trust them. The emotional toll inflicted by this experience is immeasurable.
