Incredible experience with Dr. Macia. He was very professional, attentive, and truly listened to what I wanted. The entire staff was amazing—friendly, supportive, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. The results speak for themselves: absolutely stunning and exactly what I was hoping for. I couldn’t be happier! 200% Recommend!

Dr Colón and the team were absolutely wonderful. They were so caring throughout the whole process and helped put my mind at ease. The results are fantastic! I am so confident and happy with my new nose. The aftercare support was also amazing, and they helped explain everything I had to do to help my nose heal. Thank you so much Dr Colón 😊

Over 6 months ago my life turned into a nightmare after I made the biggest mistake of my life by trusting doctor Macía Colón with a brow bone reduction and rhinoplasty as part of my facial feminization surgery. It costed me 16500 euro and the results are life-ruining. In my opinion he destroyed my feminine look and made me look like an unnatural caricature. It is humiliating for me to post my face like this, but I think it is important to share what this person did to me. This is my factual and personal experience. He used a very basic app for the surgical simulation, and it only showed the side profile. He never asked me detailed questions about my face and he only cared about the side profile. I had no idea how I’m going to look from the front. Only after I saw what he did to my face did I realize how unprofessional that was. He failed at every stage of the surgery. In my opinion he destroyed my eye shape, forehead, hairline, nose as well as my ability so breathe. I don’t recognise myself and everything what I loved about my face is gone. They handed me documents in Spanish even though they knew I don’t speak Spanish. In my opinion that was very unprofessional since the doctor advertises himself in English on Facifem website and accepts international patients. I was never verbally informed about the complications. When I received the photos from the operating table, I remember crying at night, not understanding why my nose was so small. It turned out he shortened my nose and made it upturned WITHOUT MY CONSENT and against the simulation. He gave me a retracted columella deformity from the beginning. He also excessively shortened my columnella causing pulling whenever I do any facial expression. Im adding photos showing retracted columnella with zero nostril show as well as the consequences of him shortening my columnella. When I saw that I had stitches around my nostrils, I was so confused. I never agreed to having an alarplasty. I never wanted scars on my nostrils. He did this without my consent. I hate the alarplasty results and it’s irreversible. He also placed a very big unaesthetic graft in my nasal tip that is causing me discomfort—once again, something he never mentioned beforehand. I never wanted to change my nasal tip, but he chose to experiment on me and gave me a nose that I’m ashamed of. I couldn’t breathe through one of my nostrils immediately after surgery. I briefly met him during my stitch-removal appointment with the nurse as he was leaving the clinic. I told him something felt wrong with my breathing, but he dismissed me and left the clinic without examining me. That was the last time he saw me. Even after 6 months, nothing has changed, and I still cannot breathe through that nostril as it’s collapsing. He caused me turbinate hypertrophy and the inside of my nose is heavily scarred with something poking out of my nostril inside. He placed my hairline much lower than I agreed on. I repeated to him that I want to focus only on the sides because I liked the length of the middle of my forehead, but he didn’t listen to me. He lowered the forehead in a shape of a square. He made me look like an avatar, like a cartoon character. In my opinion he irreversibly destroyed my facial proportions. Short square forehead is a masculine trait and he masculinised me with it. He lied to me, he said he’s gonna open my eyes but now they are smaller than before and my brows sit lower than before. I loved my eyes… He caused my gender dysphoria to be worse than ever before. In my opinion, he showed a complete lack of aesthetic sense. He placed my hairline so low that my skin could not tolerate it. My incision was leaking and became an open wound. I am still in discomfort after over 6 months. I need to remove the hair to make my forehead a normal feminine size that matches my face. Communication with him and his team was terrible. I think I was so beautiful before he ruined my face. I wish I had appreciated it more at the time. I would do anything to go back in time and warn myself not to trust Dr. Macía Colón.

An awful nosejob, after three years I can’t still breath properly, nasal valve collapsed immediately, nasal septum deviated and turbinate hypertrophy after short time and the aestethic aspect is even worse. The surgery and the treatment post-surgery was rude and absolutly not professional. I was attracted by the good reviews, but I was wrong and I’ve to make this review to warn other possible patients. It’s only up to you to fix and avoid the worst and dangerous health consequences, if something goes wrong during the surgery. Be a doctor means also to be responsible for your patient health. Shame on you dot. Macìa.

Two years ago we went to this clinic because my boyfriend wanted to do a plastic surgery on his nose. They've told us about the method of ultrasound which is less painful from the normal way so my boyfriend wanted to try it. It came out as the worst experience he ever had. Not only he woke up in the middle of the surgery because the anesthesiologist didn't give him the correct quantity of anesthesia and he was in huge pain but they didn't do a good job with his nose and they also gave him a mark on top of his nose and they called it a "reaction from the ultrasound" . I wouldn't recommend this clinic so I wanted to share my experience.
