I had a really positive experience at the clinic, from the practicality of arrangements, to the kindness of the nurses, cleanliness of the clinic, and the excellent pre-arrival care from Julija, plus of course my excellent operation that I’m healing from perfectly. I couldn’t recommend enough. It’s scary to take such a big step whilst overseas but you are looked after when you are there and you are also added to a WhatsApp group with other peeps having the operation in your month, and this peer support is really useful.

I had double hernia surgery one inguinal and one bilateral. The procedure was without complication and I spent one night in the clinic ward where everything was clean and new looking. I was treated with a level of respect that I have never received in a hospital in my own country. Professionalism that was beyond compare from the driver who picked me up at the airport to the surgeon who performed my procedure. Every concern every question was answered without hesitation. Everything was scheduled and carried out on schedule. My time was never wasted at any point during my entire stay. I would highly recommend that anyone in need of hernia repair must seriously consider Nordbariatric as the option at the top of your list. I recently had double hernia repair surgery at Nord Clinic and I am absolutely delighted with the results. I have been so impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the high standards that exist at Nord Clinic. From the very first email I’ve been impressed with the professionalism each query was dealt with, in particular from Julija who has been simply an amazing administrator and coordinator of my stay end to end. Dr Daukša is somone I can only describe as an expert in his field and I’m so grateful to him for having removed a tumour he discovered within one of the hernia sacs, the speed of my recovery I attribute to his experienced approach to the operation. Post surgery I arranged to stay for a week in one of medical self catering apartments with daily nursing visits. I found my mind was put at rest each day having someone I could ask questions of at the daily check in. The whole experience has been incredibly positive from the transport to administration, from the nursing care to the medical team, all of them have been exemplary. My recommendation is this is a team that you can trust and that will treat you with respect, a team that take great pride in the high standards they achieve and maintain.

I had my gallbladder removed in February. I cannot fault the service at all. The uk doctors wouldn't even believe me that my gallbladder was the issue. The surgeons here actually reviewed all my medical history Dr Dauksa was willing to help me. Julija made booking simple, the transport system they have ran seamlessly. The clinic was spotless and surgery went well. I spent one night in the hospital. The whole team were friendly and helpful. I have no regrets on going abroad for surgery, I got treated far better than I have in the uk, nhs or privately!

From start to finish, an outstanding, top-class, truly phenomenal experience. Every single member of the Nords team from Julija, the representative, to the nursing staff, Professor Maleckas, and even the drivers - was professional, highly organised, and genuinely caring. I cannot fault a single aspect of my experience with Nords. I have never felt safer or more supported. Everything was handled with such precision and compassion. Kaunas itself was lovely, with friendly people, and I was pleasantly surprised at how widely English is spoken. I would wholeheartedly recommend Nords to anyone considering their services.
