I chose the Renomé Clinic in Prague through the agency MedRoyal. I am originally from Germany. The entire process, including appointment scheduling, hotel reservations, and pre-operative check-ups, was smoothly organized with the help of MedRoyal. Their support and communication have been absolutely top-notch, and I had no concerns at all. On the day of my consultation, I met Dr. Lubor Mrna. He is incredibly friendly, with such a warm and caring personality. I felt comfortable right away. On the day of the surgery, the nurses at Renomé Clinic treated me with so much kindness. One of them held my hand as she accompanied me into the operating room, and from that moment on, everything went quickly and smoothly. I can highly recommend MedRoyal, the clinic, and Dr. Lubor Mrna. As for the results, I can’t say too much yet since my breasts are still swollen, but the first glimpse I got absolutely blew me away! I had booked an upper blepharoplasty with Dr Sandera through MedRoyal rep Dani who had excellent communication and went above and beyond to find the surgeon to suit my needs. Dr Sandra explained everything and took time to answer my questions honestly and openly. The nurses at the clinic who done pre op checks were extremely welcoming and performed their checks with competence and ease. I had the procedure done under local anastetic which was very easy and quick and I was able to leave immediately. I felt no pain and did not require any pain medication at all in the recovery. I returned to my home country the next day and had the sutures removed by a local doctor who remarked how neat and well done the stitches were done and how easy they were to remove which has not been his experience with other patients who have had this surgery done in another country and required his removal. I am only 2 weeks post op and the scars are not really visible and the results are PHENOMENAL. I can’t thank Dr Sandera enough.

I would like to share our experience with MedRoyal and their recommended partner clinic, Renomé, regarding a planned breast re-augmentation procedure. This review is intended to help patients make informed decisions, especially when considering surgery abroad and to provide constructive feedback to both the coordination team and the clinic. We began working with Simona, a coordinator from MedRoyal, who initially seemed responsive and eager to help. She suggested Renomé Clinic and assured us that it was a reputable facility with skilled surgeons. We made it clear from the beginning that our focus was on achieving an aesthetic, symmetric result. The goals were to address asymmetry in size and height between the breasts, remove old scar tissue, achieve better cleavage, and potentially use advanced techniques such as fat transfer and internal bra support (GalaFLEX and/or Stratafix sutures). We were optimistic, especially after learning that the surgery would be performed by Dr. Mrňa. To be absolutely clear: He was professional, knowledgeable and respectful. He took time during the consultation to answer our medical questions, explain techniques, and genuinely seemed invested in achieving the best results. I felt reassured by his presence. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the coordination process and administrative handling of the case, which was—frankly—extremely frustrating, disorganized, and opaque. First, the pricing was highly inconsistent. Renomé’s own website clearly states that breast re-augmentation starts from 104,300 CZK, which is approximately €4,150. However, the quote we received was €5,420 for this specific part. When we inquired about the price discrepancy, we were told it was due to a required capsulectomy (removal of scar tissue around the implants). But later, in the consultation with Dr. Mrňa, he explicitly stated that no capsulectomy was needed. He also mentioned that he wasn’t aware of any special pricing for that and found the justification very odd. Secondly, we were quoted €740 for the use of a Stratafix suture—but only for one breast. This was alarming. Stratafix is a surgical wound closure device that is typically used on both sides. When we asked why only one suture was quoted, we were told the doctor would “assess” if a second was needed. Again, Dr. Mrňa clarified during the consultation that he always uses Stratafix for both sides, as using it on only one side wouldn’t make any sense. He even laughed at the suggestion. Most clinics include these sutures in the base surgery price, or charge a minor fee of around €100–€250 per piece—not €740 per piece. Beyond pricing, the communication was full of inconsistencies. Despite repeatedly communicating that the fat for a potential fat transfer should be taken from the lower belly, the quotation kept listing the donor site as the thighs. Each time we corrected something, the information was changed and then changed back again in a never ending cycle. It was clear that the coordinator either didn’t understand the medical procedures involved or wasn’t passing on accurate information to the clinic or the client coordinator had no intension to show transparency in pricing & procedure. We asked for a clear breakdown of the cost—in writing—and were denied this multiple times. We were told, “That’s just how the clinic does it,” and that prices cannot be itemized. This is highly unusual and concerning when dealing with medical procedures that involve multiple components such as implants, fat transfer, support materials (GalaFLEX), sutures and anesthesia. Any reputable clinic should be able to provide a clear & transparent breakdown of what you're paying for. What was perhaps most worrying was how the pricing seemed to be entirely dependent on who you were & how much you questioned it. When we pushed for clarification, we were met with resistance, sometimes even irritation. We were told, “If you don’t like the price, you’re free to go elsewhere.” That response, in the face of genuine questions about fairness, is extremely unprofessional.
