I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Prof. Dr. Petko Karagyozov and Dr. Martin Tsvetkov at the Gastroenterology Department at Tokuda Hospital for the excellent care I received! From the moment I arrived, the doctors, nurses, and staff treated me with professionalism, kindness, and respect. They took the time to explain my condition and treatment clearly, which made me feel comfortable and confident throughout my stay. The medical team was highly skilled, attentive, and genuinely caring. The hospital facilities were clean, well-organized, and provided a comfortable environment for recovery. Thank you to everyone in the Gastroenterology Department for your dedication and outstanding patient care! I highly recommend Tokuda Hospital to anyone seeking high-quality medical treatment.

I had a very positive experience at Tokuda Orthopaedic Ward and I am truly grateful for the care I received. I was hospitalized there for four days in January 2026, and throughout my stay I felt well cared for and supported. My doctor, Dr. Pashov, along with the nurses, staff, and the entire operating room team, were extremely kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. Their professionalism and compassion made a big difference in my recovery. I stayed in a shared room with Bulgarian Kaka and Lela’s we were four ladies in the room, and it felt warm, supportive, and comforting. Thanks to both the staff and my roommates, I never felt alone, even though this was my first hospitalization in a foreign country. The nurses were always just one call away, ready to help whenever needed. The cleaners were also very kind and cleaned the ward every day. The level of cleanliness truly deserves praise. Regardless of whether I am Bulgarian or a foreigner, I was treated with respect and kindness. I also appreciated that some doctors, nurses, and physical therapists speak English, which helped me feel more comfortable and informed. I strongly believe that when we treat healthcare workers kindly, they respond with the same kindness, it’s the least we can do to appreciate their hard work and dedication. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I am very satisfied with the care I received at Tokuda Orthopaedic Ward. I would highly recommend it.

This is one of the best hospitals I’ve encountered anywhere in the world, and in my 70 years, I’ve seen quite a few. Most of the hospital staff, regardless of their position or title, are exceptionally kind to patients and demonstrate a high level of professionalism. The staff in the international department are always ready to offer advice and assistance. A huge thank you to all of them.

I want to share my experience at City Clinic Hospital "Tokuda", Sofia, Bulgaria, from last year December 2024. It is related to the department of ENT. My son had a surgery for removing the adenoids that happened in November 2024 and it was performed by Dr Manev. The surgery was successful but I am not happy with the commitment according to the appointments with Dr Manev. I was booking appointments and when I was there with my son, the doctor was on holiday when he confirmed them. I was travelling from the UK to Bulgaria and that cost me a lot of money for the airplane tickets. My experience is related to December 22nd, when I booked an appointment for my son with Dr Manev for a last check after the surgery but unfortunately, he was already on holiday. I asked another doctor to see him and that was Dr Kyulev. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart to Dr Kyulev and the people who supported him such as Dr Mustafa Barzev, Dr Nikolina Dimova and the nurse Slaveva. I was unwell at that time and asked them just to look at my throat and Dr Dimova with Dr Kyulev found that I was very ill, to lose my life, and I needed to stay at the hospital. Dr Kyulev worked with me 3 hours after his shift and all other specialists tried to help me, and they did it to their best. THANK YOU. Unfortunately, Dr Dimitur Zlatkov, who wasn't there but he is the manager of the ENT ward, decided not to open the ward for me and I had to find emergency service in other hospitals during the Christmas time to finish my treatment and to be able to go back on the plane to the UK. I thank you to Dr Kyulev and the young specialist doctors who gave me all the care that I needed. However, I am really disappointed with Dr Zlatkov who refused to give me a chance to finish my treatment and Dr Manev who wasn't serious about his patient. Kind regards, Stanislava Milenkova

This hospital is capable of the good and the worst. All depends on the Dr which you have. Their Prof Neurologist is a waste of time and money, their neurosurgeon the same. Even the Dr who send us for further analysis was shocked of there report. Useless! The GP - same disaster - I ended up having a more serious problem because of miss-treatment. You call 9 call out of 10 they hangup on you if you don't speak Bulgarian. They run out of supply like Natrogen liquid because their supplier is hospitalized. Seriously, the best hospital in Bulgaria rely in a one man show as supplier, really. Yes it's a fact! Unfortunately unless you go abroad as we do, you can't have better options. Be ready! And pray and pay!!! @the Manager of the hopsital I'm ready for a discussion to explain you my 5 years experience. Update 12 March 2026: I booked my second appointment and they charged for the appointment. Answer from the receptionist, "What's the matter" because the insurance is paying. Really!!! On top of that they said I should pay one amount and they charged me 10% more! As you can see I received the same standard answer. I completed the form on the 10th March, still no news from the hospital. I'll keep you informed. To be followed.
