I normally don’t write reviews, but after everything over the past two months, I had to write one for Dr. Jamil because he honestly deserves it. I originally went to him for a jawline and chin implant surgery. The surgery itself went very well, recovery started normally, and I was genuinely happy with the result in the beginning. Everything was handled very professionally. About a week later though, I suddenly started getting really strong pain on one side of my face. At first nobody fully knew what was causing it, but it kept getting worse over the next days. Later it turned out to be herpes affecting the facial nerve, which was obviously a very stressful and unusual situation. Because of this, I ended up visiting Dr. Jamil many times over the following weeks. He stayed very involved the entire time and took the situation seriously from day one. Because of the inflammation and nerve pain, we eventually decided to partially remove the implant and do another surgery only a few weeks after the first one. From what I understood, operating again that quickly is extremely difficult because the tissue becomes very hard during healing. Despite that, he managed to do the surgery successfully. He explained afterwards that reopening everything and working through the healing tissue was very challenging. The recovery afterwards was much better than I expected. Within a few days I already felt a lot better, and after about a week most of the swelling was already gone. Considering how difficult the situation was, that was honestly impressive. What stood out to me most was not only his surgical skill, but also how much he genuinely cared throughout the whole process. Over the many visits during those two months, we actually became friends, which made a stressful situation much easier mentally. He stayed calm, patient, supportive, and always took the time to explain things properly and reassure me when I was worried. You can tell he really knows what he’s doing and has a huge amount of experience. After going through such a difficult situation, I can honestly say that Dr. Jamil is one of the best doctors, if not the best doctor I have ever met. Both professionally and personally, I have a huge amount of respect for him and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone considering surgery with him.
